Replacement inhive feeder for the APIDEA Mating Nuc

The APIDEA Replacement Inhive Feeder is compatible with all APIDEA Mating Nucs and is ideal for replacing a damaged or lost inhive feeder. It is placed directly inside the Mating Nuc and provides a reliable supply of fondant for the colony.

The inhive feeder holds approximately 500 g of fondant and is designed to allow the bees direct access to the feed from inside the Mating Nuc. An excluder separates the feeding area from the brood area and prevents the queen from entering the feeder.

If the colony is to remain in the APIDEA Mating Nuc for a longer period, the inhive feeder can be removed and replaced with two additional frames. The APIDEA Top Feeder can then be used to provide additional feed.
