The APIDEA Sliding Bottom is made from high-quality hard styrofoam and is a precisely fitting replacement part for the APIDEA Mating Nuc. It can be easily inserted and removed, allowing the Mating Nuc to be populated with bees quickly and conveniently.

To populate the Mating Nuc, turn it upside down and pull out the sliding bottom until the brood area is accessible. Once the bees have been introduced, simply slide the bottom back into place to securely close the Mating Nuc.
